ZUMBROTA - Roy and Al Lodermeier were named 2011 Goodhue County Citizens of the Year by the Goodhue County Editorial Association on Wednesday, January 25 at the Covered Bridge Restaurant in Zumbrota. The Lodermeier brothers were recognized for their extraordinary work in conjunction with over twenty other medical technicians who saved Howard Snitzer's life on January 5, 2011.

PINE ISLAND - Pine Island City Administrator Abraham Algadi submitted the initial goals and objectives for planning to organize solid waste collection to the city council on Tuesday, January 17, 2012.
